Optimizing the loading of the channel list 🎉
For a long time, operators with large lists of channels (especially 1000 positions or more) experienced problems with the long first load of the list of channels, and, consequently, the application as a whole.
For several months, we have been working on changing the architecture of this mechanism, not only from the application side, but also from Smarty, and in this release we are finally ready to present the results of this work:
- channel loading is now portioned, which has significantly reduced the total loading time (portions are optional)
channel_info_request_depth); - according to the same portion algorithm, EPG channels are now updated, which reduced the load on the server part.
Disconnection of devices when reaching the limit
Now instead of error «The number of sessions of the account on the basic devices » is exceeded; when logging in, the subscriber will be shown a new screen with the ability to untie unnecessary devices and try to log in again.
Phone number registration
Added the ability to enable classic registration by phone number by option registration_available, and also implemented confirmation of the phone number using the code in the room from the incoming call.
Handling of titles
The "Next Series" button is now shown when the titles appear, rather than just 30 seconds before the end, if fragment it's for an asset.
