{"id":3322,"date":"2022-08-22T18:49:26","date_gmt":"2022-08-22T15:49:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.microimpuls.com\/docs\/releases\/smarty\/12-2022-smarty-1-82-0-7539"},"modified":"2026-01-23T11:04:08","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T08:04:08","slug":"12-2022-smarty-1-82-0-7539","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/microimpuls.com\/en\/docs\/releases\/smarty\/12-2022-smarty-1-82-0-7539","title":{"rendered":"12-21 | 1.82 VOD providers, linking cameras to accounts, sorting channels"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New video library capabilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">VOD PROVIDERS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A few releases back we added to our template&nbsp;<code>Futuristic<\/code>&nbsp;the ability to divide the video library into several sections, according to which external theater the film was received from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.microimpuls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/providers1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3324\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the same release, we added the ability to create our own sections by creating VOD providers and assigning them to the movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"390\" src=\"https:\/\/www.microimpuls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/providers2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3325\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.microimpuls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/providers3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3326\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It is possible to assign films to the provider manually, through the Smarty administration panel, and it is possible to automate this using the method of creating films from the Content API group:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/microimpuls.github.io\/smarty-content-api-docs\/#api-Video-VideoCreate\">https:\/\/microimpuls.github.io\/smarty-content-api-docs\/#api-Video-VideoCreate<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FILM SERIES AND SERIES SERIES SERIES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Corrections were made to the sorting of assets of films, as well as an update to the position of the film in the list when adding a new asset to it: thanks to this, the series for which new series were released and added will be in the section \u00abNews\u00bb in the top positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MEGOGO BILLING INTEGRATION UPDATED<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A new option added&nbsp;<code>EXTERNAL_API_VIDEO_CHECK_BALANCE_REQUEST<\/code>, which includes notification of external billing when checking the subscriber's balance.<br>Documentation:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/micro.im\/docs\/smarty\/configuring-and-management\/smarty-config#%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%81%D1%82%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B9%D0%BA%D0%B8-%D0%BF%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B5%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%B8%D1%8F-vod-%D0%B8-%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%BB%D0%B0%D0%B9%D0%BD-%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%BD%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%B0%D1%82%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B2\">https:\/\/micro.im\/docs\/smarty\/configuring-and-management\/smarty-config#\u043d\u0430\u0441\u0442\u0440\u043e\u0439\u043a\u0438-\u043f\u043e\u0432\u0435\u0434\u0435\u043d\u0438\u044f-vod-\u0438-\u043e\u043d\u043b\u0430\u0439\u043d-\u043a\u0438\u043d\u043e\u0442\u0435\u0430\u0442\u0440\u043e\u0432<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the subscriber page, a new button has been added \u00abCheck subscriptions in external theaters\u00bb with which you can make sure that the subscription in the external theater for this user is exactly present and the films should be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"391\" src=\"https:\/\/www.microimpuls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/ext_subs.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3327\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Fixed a number of problems when connecting tariff packages with a subscription to MEGOGO: with the creation of transactions, checking the balance and processing the request&nbsp;<code>VideoAction<\/code>&nbsp;from the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Linking cameras to an account<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In this release, it became possible to assign the availability of cameras directly to the account without the need to create a tariff package. Operators providing section \u00abCameras\u00bb in their service, this innovation will significantly reduce the number of tariff packages, which will increase the speed of the service in some situations, and will also help not to clutter the adminka with such packages as: \u00abCameras of the entrance N of the house M on L\u00bb street;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"390\" src=\"https:\/\/www.microimpuls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/cameras.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3328\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Channel sorting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Careful users of our adminka noticed this section in the last release, but in this we are ready to fully announce it!<br>It was worked out UX and UI creating sorting channels in the control panel, and also added a new item in the template settings&nbsp;<code>Impulses<\/code>it allows you to set the current sorting of channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"390\" src=\"https:\/\/www.microimpuls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/sortings.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3329\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Why would that be necessary? For example, in Russia, by law, the 1st and 2nd multiplexes are required to be the first in the list of channels, and often users do not even flip the list to those channels that are further away. In one of the alternative sorts, you can create a list in which the first positions will be those channels that the operator wants to tell users in the first place and focus on them. Or with the help of these sorts, you can conduct marketing experiments within your subscriber base, exploring how a position in the list, for example, affects TV viewing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Archive Optimization<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>New options have been added to optimize gear list caching for the section \u00abArchive\u00bb (management command cache_record_list):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><code>TVMIDDLEWARE_PROGRAM_RECORD_LIST_DONT_CHECK_BLOCKS<\/code>&nbsp;\u2014 when the value of True turns off the transmission check for lock. If the functionality of blocking archive transmissions is not used, we recommend to enable this option.<\/li><li><code>TVMIDDLEWARE_PROGRAM_RECORD_LIST_MINIMUM_LENGTH<\/code>&nbsp;\u2014 excludes from the sample for the screen \u00ab Archive \u00bb transmissions shorter than N seconds. Default is 900.<\/li><li><code>TVMIDDLEWARE_PROGRAM_RECORD_DAYS<\/code>&nbsp;\u2014 excludes from the cache programs older than N days. Default 5.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>More on the archive:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/micro.im\/docs\/smarty\/configuring-and-management\/vod-from-archive-records\">https:\/\/micro.im\/docs\/smarty\/configuring-and-management\/vod-from-archive-records<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Call registration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the TVMW method&nbsp;<code>AccountRegister<\/code>&nbsp;added the possibility of confirming the subscriber's number by call using the gateway&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/smsc.ru\/\">smsc.ru<\/a>. At the moment, this type of registration has been added only to some of our custom-built templates, but soon we plan to add it to the main templates:&nbsp;<code>futuristic<\/code>,&nbsp;<code>impulsive<\/code>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<code>infinitly<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Payment by QR<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We have a new API method for generating QR code for payment using our integrated payment gateways:&nbsp;<code>TVMW API PaymentQRCode<\/code>&nbsp;(<a href=\"https:\/\/microimpuls.github.io\/smarty-tvmw-api-docs\/#api-Payment-PaymentQRCode\">https:\/\/microimpuls.github.io\/smarty-tvmw-api-docs\/#api-Payment-PaymentQRCode<\/a>).<br>Thanks to him in the next releases in the templates will appear an additional type of payment from the TV screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More about payment gateways:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/micro.im\/docs\/smarty\/payments-integration\">https:\/\/micro.im\/docs\/smarty\/payments-integration<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fixing the connection tariff to the account<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the administration panel in the section \u00abSubscriber Actions\u00bb a new type of login action appeared: connecting a tariff package to an account. Previously, log only connecting the tariff to the subscriber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"390\" src=\"https:\/\/www.microimpuls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/customeractionlog.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3330\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dashboard<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We have fully completed the constructor for the dashboard on the side of Smarty and in the new year we will be ready to release its implementation on the side of client applications.
